As we approach the end of 2024, it’s incredible to think about how fast life seems to be moving. Just 500 years ago, people spent their entire lives in the same town or village, with little exposure to significant changes. Today, technology evolves so rapidly that we hardly have time to absorb one breakthrough before the next arrives. This year has been no different, and I want to reflect on some of the most meaningful moments, especially in my personal life, career, and blog journey.
Life in the USA: A Year of Growth
It’s hard to believe that in February 2025, it will mark 3 years since I moved to the USA. What an adventure it has been! New York, with its bustling energy, has been an incredible place to live. One of the highlights? I haven’t owned a car since leaving the UK, and I don’t plan to buy one anytime soon. The city’s public transport and walkability make it ideal for someone who enjoys the fast pace of urban life.
This year, I took the opportunity to explore more of the United States, with one of the most stunning places being the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The landscape there is simply breathtaking, and it’s a reminder of how much this country has to offer beyond its cities.

Why the Rocky Mountain National Park Was a Highlight of 2024
The breathtaking beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park was one of the most memorable aspects of 2024. From hiking the peaks to exploring the valleys, it’s no wonder it became one of the top destinations in my travel adventures. If you’re considering a nature getaway, it’s a must-visit destination. Work-Life Balance: Navigating the Office and Remote Trends
While many people have embraced the work-from-home lifestyle, I’ve chosen to work from the office about three days a week. Admittedly, I was one of the only people there just before the winter break, but I enjoy meeting my colleagues in person. At Adobe, I’ve had the chance to connect with individuals from various departments, and it’s been invaluable for both my career and personal growth. I’m also proud to be an active supporter of HOLA, the Hispanic and Latinx at Adobe Employee Network. Being interviewed for an internal video was a highlight this year!
Blog Growth and Achievements in 2024
When I first started blogging, I was just another anonymous voice in the sea of content on the internet. Over time, though, my blog has gained recognition, especially within the Adobe Experience Cloud community. Some of my coworkers shared my posts, and as search engines began ranking my content higher, I started seeing traffic growth. I’m constantly amazed when people reach out, saying they’ve been reading my blog for years and are now finally able to meet me in person or virtually.
Looking at the blog statistics for 2024, I can proudly say the numbers are impressive:
- Page Views: 66,772 (+28.5% YoY)
- Visits: 52,249 (+42.8% YoY)
- Visitors: 44,177 (+69.9% YoY)
Understanding the Growth: Blog Metrics in 2024
Blog traffic this year saw impressive growth, with over 66,000 page views in 2024. In particular, there was a noticeable increase in visitors from diverse countries, with Singapore unexpectedly topping the list. The rise in visitors is encouraging, but it also raises some questions, which I will explore further in the coming year. Traffic Insights and Anomalies
There was an unusual spike in traffic in the middle of the year, with Singapore topping the list of countries, surpassing the United States. While this could be due to a variety of reasons, including the use of VPNs or possibly an attempt to take control of my site, I’m keeping a close eye on the situation for 2025. Here’s a breakdown of the countries sending the most traffic:
- Singapore: 37.2%
- United States: 22.3%
- India: 13.7%
- United Kingdom: 3.8%
- Canada: 3.1%
Popular Posts and Content Trends
Looking at the most popular posts of 2024, comparisons between Adobe tools dominated the charts. These posts, which compare legacy tools to newer applications, were especially relevant for those migrating to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). Here are the top posts:
- Adobe Analytics vs Customer Journey Analytics – 4.0% of page views
- Adobe Journey Optimizer vs Adobe Campaign Classic vs Marketo – 3.1% of page views
- Use Cases vs Capabilities – 2.6% of page views
Interestingly, older posts like the “Tutorial AEM-Launch Integration” are still driving significant traffic, showing that quality content can have long-term value. On the flip side, I’ve seen the post “How to debug an Adobe Analytics implementation” finally drop off the top 15 list, which is a good thing as the industry has evolved, and newer debugging techniques are now available.
Looking Ahead to 2025
So, what does 2025 hold for me? While I can’t predict the future (if I could, I’d be sipping cocktails on a beach!), I do expect more of the same. I’ll be heading to the Adobe Summit in March to deliver a session, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the new U.S. administration shapes the business environment. As for my blog, I anticipate continued growth, though traffic might stabilize in the coming months.
Let’s see what the next year brings!
Thank you all for reading and supporting my blog. I appreciate each and every one of you!
