New Delhi, May 19, 2025 — Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has been invited as a keynote speaker to the prestigious Asian Leadership Conference (ALC) 2025, to be held in Seoul, South Korea, on May 21–22.
Chadha will share the stage with global figures like former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former Australian PM Tony Abbott, and Asia Foundation President Laurel E. Miller. The 2025 theme, “The Rise of Nations: Pathways to Great Prosperity”, aligns with South Korea’s 80th liberation anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the Korean War.
1. Representing India’s Youth on a Global Stage

Mr. Chadha said, “It’s an honour to represent India and its youth in a forum that brings together visionaries from across the globe.” He will present India’s approach to democratic resilience and inclusive prosperity, emphasizing youth leadership.
2. Speaking on ‘New Political Vanguard’
He has been selected to speak on the panel titled “New Political Vanguard: Young Leaders Reshaping Governance in Asia”, where he will share his vision for youth participation in governance across the continent.
3. Joining an Esteemed Speaker Line-up
Previous ALC editions have hosted world leaders including Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This year, Chadha joins global decision-makers and changemakers, including business leaders like Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman.
4. Strengthening India’s Global Political Footprint
With a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, Chadha’s presence underscores India’s growing soft power and the role of regional cooperation in shaping policy agendas for Asia’s future.

5. A Platform for Policy Innovation
Organized by Chosun Media and the Centre for Asia Leadership, the ALC is often called the “Davos of the East” and will include sessions on global cooperation, climate change, economic equity, and youth empowerment in the age of poly-crisis.
Why It Matters
This opportunity places a spotlight on AAP’s political strategies and youth-driven governance models gaining traction in South Asia. With global forums increasingly focused on intergenerational leadership, Raghav Chadha’s inclusion signals India’s voice in future-shaping discourse.
